Governance
Corlann uses subsidiarity and transparent decision-making processes to direct its resources and exercise governance in an effective and accountable way; to us governance is more than just oversight.
We are distinct in our dedication to supporting people with an intellectual disability and autism to claim their rights as equal and valued citizens. The values of respect for the individual, inclusion, high standards in service delivery, valuing our staff, innovation and partnership, are foremost in all our Governance decisions. Our governance framework is designed to uphold these values so that every decision we make reflects the voices and needs of the people we support.
We believe that quality is everyone’s responsibility and through the Council of Quality and Leadership we implement and monitor the quality of our service. We empower those we support and our staff to be champions of quality services. We provide the tools, training, and guidance they need to lead with confidence, make informed decisions, and drive meaningful change. Through regular feedback, reflective practice, standards, and our strategic plan we create a culture where learning and growth are embedded in everyday work.
